Author of: Dr. Paul Beljan is the president of the American Board of Pediatric Neuropsychology (ABPdN) and is a clinical neuropsychologist in private practice in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Beljan received his doctoral degree from Wright State University’s School of Professional Psychology. His pre-doctoral internship in pediatric psychology and pediatric neuropsychology were at the Oregon Health Sciences University, Child Development and Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Beljan completed a postdoctoral fellowship through the Michigan State University School of Human Medicine in Pediatric Psychology and Pediatric Neuropsychology. Board Certified as a Diplomate, Dr. Beljan serves on the Executive Committee of the American Board of Pediatric Neuropsychology, for which he is Treasurer and President-Elect.
Dr. Beljan’s professional focus is on Gifted Intelligence, Alcohol/Drug Related Neurodevelopmental Deficit (A/DRND), Learning Disorders, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Executive Functioning Deficit and intervention. Dr. Beljan also specializes in the pediatric psychology of pain management. Dr. Beljan is a nationally retained forensic neuropsychology expert and has lectured internationally.
